Volleyball secures win over App State

Down 13-9 in the fifth set, the Georgia Southern University volleyball team rallied to secure a 3-2 win over Appalachian State University.

Sophomore right side Katie Bange recorded four blocks and 14 kills, three of which came in that late run, to secure a victory for GSU.

Sophomore setter Katalin Minnerly totaled 52 assists in the match.

The Eagles will attempt to ride their current wave of momentum against Western Carolina University tomorrow at 7 p.m.
