Omega Phi Alpha, a service sorority at Georgia Southern University, is at the Russell Union from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. this week selling Thread of Hope Bracelets for $2. These bracelets are made by women in the Philippines to provide a source of income to for their families. These women make these bracelets to avoid the pressures of sex trafficking.

Jessica Allen, a pledge of Omega Phi Alpha, encourages students to support this cause by coming out, buying a bracelet and sharing the stories behind them to inspire others to get involved as well. If you would like more information about Threads of Hope, go to www.threadsofhope.com.ph.
