Eagles to wrap up preseason play

The Georgia Southern University men’s soccer team will complete the final leg of their preseason exhibitions tomorrow as they travel to the University of Central Florida.

The Eagles came to a draw in their first scrimmage when they traveled down to the sunshine state to take on University of North Florida.

The Knights on the other hand have already taken on Southern Conference rival College of Charleston and also Jacksonville University before completing the third of three scrimmages for their squad.

This will be a good tune up for the Eagles as UCF is coming off a solid year with a record of 8-7-3 and 5-3 in Conference USA play.

A winning result might be difficult for the Eagles as UCF has accrued a 17-6-3 record at home over the past three seasons.

This game will measure where the Eagles stand as they head into the regular season schedule.

Kickoff will be in Orlando tomorrow at 7 p.m. and the season opener will begin next Friday.
