Eagle Nation, get your True Blue towels ready because an action packed weekend beginning April 12-14 awaits Georgia Southern Athletics.

The annual Blue White spring football game will highlight the weekend, but baseball, softball, men’s tennis, and men’s soccer will also be competing at home.

The football team will kick things off at 1 p.m. that Saturday at Allen E. Paulson Stadium.  Fans are encouraged to wear 1980’s style clothing because a film crew will be getting shots of the crowd for the new Erk Russell movie.

Before the game starts the Eagles will host the Little Eagles Camp starting at 11 a.m.  After the game the EFAA will be hosting the $10,000 reverse raffle at 7 p.m.

The GSU baseball team, softball, men’s soccer and men’s tennis will also be in action that weekend. Baseball will host a three-game weekend series against The Citadel.

First pitch on Friday night is set for 6 p.m. Saturday’s game is set for 5 p.m. and Sunday’s series finale is a 1:30 p.m. start. Promotions for the series include Guinness Book of World Records, 90’s day and cowboy/cowgirl day.

Softball will take on the Samford University Bulldogs that weekend in a three game set. The series opens with a doubleheader on Saturday at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. and concludes with a 1 p.m. game on Sunday.

Promotions for the series include alumni weekend and fan appreciation day.

The men’s tennis team will square off with Samford on Friday and Chattanooga on Saturday. Both matches are scheduled to start at noon and it will be senior day on Saturday.

Men’s soccer will host a doubleheader of spring soccer on Sunday. The first match against North Florida is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. and the second against SCAD is set for 5 p.m.
