The Georgia Southern University baseball team’s first road game against the University of Florida will be aired on television throughout the state of Florida and on select satellite providers.

This is also the Eagles’ first mid-week game of the season and will be aried on the Sun Sports/Fox Sports Network in Florida. The contest will be the fourth-straight game against a Southeastern Conference opponent and the fourth of nine straight against a Bowl Championship Series.

GSU and Florida have met for the last two seasons and the two schools have split the two meetings. The Eagles held the Gators to three hits in a 7-0 win in 2011, but Florida won last year’s game 8-2.

The Eagles are less than a week away from the season opener against the University of Georgia.
