Police Beat: Feb. 16-19

Saturday, Feb. 16

2:40 p.m.:  An incident report was taken for lost/mislaid property at the RAC Field Support Building.

5:25 p.m.:  Officers assisted Statesboro Police with an incident at The Avenue at Southern.

5:57 p.m.:  An incident report was taken for a 14-year-old missing juvenile from the Henderson Library.  The juvenile was located at 6:50 p.m.  The juvenile was turned over to her mother.

10:35 p.m.:  Officers responded to Eagle Village in reference to alcohol violations.  Four occupants were judicially referred.

Sunday, Feb. 17

2:21 a.m.:  Officers responded to Centennial Place in reference to a panic alarm.  Maintenance was notified and responded.  The occupant was contacted with no problems found.

8:54 a.m.:  Officers responded to the Hollis Building in reference to a fire alarm.  Maintenance was notified and responded.  The building was checked with no problems found.

10:26 a.m.:  An incident report was taken for lost/mislaid property at the Hanner Fieldhouse.

10:47 a.m.:  An incident report was taken for damage to property in Lot 13.

4:48 a.m.:  Officers responded to the Alpha Delta Pi House on Olympic Boulevard in reference to a fire alarm.  Officers made contact with the occupants.  Smoke from an occupant cooking set off the alarm.

5:06 p.m.:  Officers assisted Statesboro Police with an incident that occurred at the Statesboro Mall movie parking lot and the Walmart parking lot.

6:47 p.m.:  An incident report was taken for found property at the Hanner Fieldhouse.

Monday, Feb. 18

9:29 a.m.:  Officers responded to an animal complaint in Lot 30.

11:37 a.m.:  An incident report was taken for lost/mislaid property at the RAC.

2:15 p.m.:  Officers responded to a sick person at the Russell Union.  EMS responded but did not transport.

2:37 p.m.:  A motor vehicle accident report was taken for an accident that occurred at the Landrum construction site.

4:00 p.m.:  A motor vehicle accident report was taken for an accident that occurred in Paulson parking.

5:00 p.m.:  An incident report was taken for lost/mislaid property at the Hanner Fieldhouse.

9:28 p.m.:  An incident report was taken for a theft at the RAC.  This case was turned over to criminal investigations.

11:22 p.m.:  An incident report was taken for found property at the RAC.

1:23 a.m.:  Officers responded to a fire alarm at Eagle Village building 2.  Maintenance and the Statesboro Fire Department responded.  The alarm was activated by a burned pan on the stove in the community room.

1:37 a.m.:  Officers made contact with a loud profane subject at Eagle Village during the fire alarm.  The subject, Quentin Kenneth Duncan, 19, was arrested and charged with Possession of Alcohol under 21 Years of Age and Disorderly Conduct.

Tuesday, Feb. 19

8:52 a.m.   Officers responded to Cone Hall for a sick person report. EMS transported subject to EGRMC.

9:38 a.m.   Officers responded to the Carroll Building for a report of an injured person.  EMS did not transport.

10:13 a.m.  An incident report was taken for found property at the I.T. Building.

8:01 p.m.   An incident report was taken for lost property at The NEST.
