The Georgia Southern University Men’s soccer team will be hosting their first ever night game Friday at 7 p.m. against Elon University at Eagle Field.

New lights were installed at Eagle Field and turned on for the first time on October 3 and Friday marks the beginning of a new era for GSU soccer.

Before the installation of new lights, GSU home games started at 2 or 4 in the afternoon. Now, GSU can host games at 7 p.m. instead.

The regular season is coming to an end and the Men’s team. They will need the support of their fellow Eagles to push them to a strong finish.

Along with the upcoming game against Elon, the Eagles will host night games against the University of North Carolina at Greensboro on October 16 and Furman University on October 23. All games will start at 7 p.m. at Eagle Field.
