National Sandwich Day

Did you know the sandwich is dubbed so after an earl? The Earl of Sandwich to be exact (because apparently that’s a place – who knew?).
Once upon a time, the fourth Earl of Sandwich, John Matagu, ordered to have beef put between two slices of bread as a snack during a card game. 300 years later, we have National Sandwich Day, to be celebrated every November 3rd.

Bonus: Subway offering a BOGO buy one sandwich & a 30-ounce drink, and get a second sandwich for free.
Eat up and enjoy!

Kendall Jenner – An Angel?

The Kardashians have basically taken over the world and younger sister Kendall Jenner is no exception. Aside from being a reality TV star and fashion designer, she is also a model taking the runways by storm.
Originally appearing in ads for Forever 21 and Teen Vogue, Jenner has begun gracing the runways of London, Paris, and Milan the past few years. Posing for high brands such as Marc Jacobs and Calvin Klein (which she also happens to be the face of, as of earlier this year, btw), she will be adding one other hot topic brand to her resume – Victoria’s Secret.
Jenner has been officially booked to walk the runway for the show airing December 8th on CBS at 10 p.m. No word yet on what ensemble she might be donning, but fans will get to catch her & BFF Gigi Hadid, who is also a newcomer, in action together.

K. Rowling is writing ANOTHER children’s novel?

Everyone remain calm.
Tuesday morning, Rowling did an interview with BBC Radio 2, stating “I have an idea for a children’s book… Actually, I have written part of a children’s book that I really love, so I’m definitely going to finish that. There will be another children’s book.”
That was a definitive statement at the end – did you catch that? DEFINITIVE. It WILL happen.
The author revealed more works to be expected from her coming soon as well.
“I’m not going to give you an absolute date because things are busy, and I’ve been writing a screenplay as well for ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,’ which has been a lot of fun, but I’d definitely write more novels as J.K. Rowling – novels in the plural, I have so many ideas … I sometimes worry I’ll die before I’ve written them all out. That’s my midlife crisis – that I will leave this earth without having written them all.”
God bless this woman.

Taylor Swift Being Sued for $42 Million

You’ve probably heard the first single from Taylor Swift’s ‘1989’ album “Shake It Off”, assuming you haven’t unashamedly jammed out to it in the car on the way to class once or twice. Allegedly, you’ve been jamming out to two songs at once.
R&B artist Jesse Graham has filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit against the pop singer claiming the lyric “Haters gonna hate hate hate hate hate/ players gonna play play play play play” and the hook to the song are ripped off from his own 2013 song “Haters Gonna Hate.”
“Her hook is the same as mine. If I didn’t write the song ‘Haters Gone Hate,’ there wouldn’t be a song called ‘Shake It Off’ … At first I was going to let it go, but this song is my song all the way.” Graham said in an interview with New York Daily News.
I wonder if T. Swizzle is going to shake this one off?
