Today from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Office of Student Leadership and Civic Engagement, in conjunction with the University Programming Board, will host the Sculpt-It for the Hungry
event in the Russell Union common area. Organizations from across campus will use cans and other non-perishable goods they have collected to build sculptures that reflect this year’s Hollywood Homecoming theme.

The sculptures will be judged at 1 p.m. and the winning team will be awarded a spirit point. “This year we have collected about 1,000 cans,” Dr. Kimberly Drawdy, Gamma Beta Phi faculty advisor, said. After the judging is completed, the cans will be donated to the local food bank.
