The Southern Walk of Fame Kick Off event is starting today from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Russell Union Rotunda.
Students will be able to take pictures with a True Blue backdrop and will have a red carpet to walk on. “It’s pretty much for students to come out and take Hollywood type pictures and they can either take it on their phone or we can take it and put it on our social media,” Carlissa Hill, Spirits and Traditions Chair, said.
Students can also come out and decorate stars and there will be other tables set up at the Rotunda promoting special upcoming events for homecoming. Doo-Dah Dance and Step Show tickets will be sold from 12 p-1 later in the day
