The 100 Collegiate Women of America and The American Society of Mechanical Engineers are teaming up to promote a healthy lifestyle and breast cancer awareness.
They are promoting Party in Pink every Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m to 2 p.m. in the Russell Union until the event.
Party in Pink will be Tuesday, October 28 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. held in the Russell Union Ballroom. They will have Zumba, games and other interactive activities for the event. Tickets are $3. A part of the proceeds will go towards the American Cancer Society foundation.
President of the 100 Collegiate Women of America, Lauren Williams, said they raised around $300 last year and that this event is “fun for me and for us, we wear pink and get to take pictures in the photo booth.”
