The Black Student Alliance is an organization which works for the empowerment of minorities on campus. The organization offers different events to help the community of Statesboro and Georgia Southern University.

An upcoming event they are hosting is the first annual BSA Lock In on November 17 from 6 p.m. to 9:30 pm in the Williams Center Multipurpose Center for homeless awareness. Entrance is allowed with a donation which will go towards the homeless.

Kiante Childress and LaTanya Atwell-Cooney, BSA members, said, “It is great be a well rounded student and be part of an organization that gives back, such as BSA”.
