This week is Sigma Lambda Beta’s week, since this Friday is anniversary of when they were founded in 1986.

Sigma Lambda Beta is a Multicultural Fraternity, and today they are at the rotunda taking selfies with anyone that will participate. Their goal is to flood Instagram to show off their fraternity and let people know their presence in Georgia Southern University’s Greek Life.

They have many different events coming up this week. On Tuesday, they will have a Grains of Culture presentation. The presentation will be in the IT Building room 2202.

“They want to show hot the world is connected through a grain of rice,” Joshua Mackrill, senior anthropology and international studies major, said.

Wednesday in the Rotunda they will have Beta Games and give prizes from different countries to the winners. On Thursday they will have an informational meeting about the fraternity in the Williams Center room 2675. They will close the week with a Friday presentation to show off all the new members in their fraternity.
