Georgia Southern University students have been enjoying a new app this semester called Tapingo.

This app allows students and faculty to order ahead at their favorite on campus restaurants like Starbucks, Zach’s Brews, Market Street Deli, Chick-Fil-A and others. You are able to order on the app using Eagle Express or a credit/debit card.

Tapingo is based out of San Francisco and they go to colleges and universities to make the students’ and the restaurants’ lives easier in regards to getting food out faster to customers.

Sara Rice, the campus coordinator representative of Tapingo for Georgia Southern University, will be at the Russell Union Rotunda until 1:30 p.m. to talk to students about the app and answer any questions people may have.

Also, there is a raffle at the Tapingo table for Bucketfeet Shoes. “All you would have to do is show me your Tapingo receipt and you can be entered in the raffle,” Rice said.

Other giveaways include cups, bottle openers and t-shirts.
