Her Campus is now chartered here at Georgia Southern. Her Campus is an online magazine that caters to young women on over 230 campuses. Each collegiate chapter have young women that are interested in journalism, magazines, writing, marketing, media, event planning, and much more. With Her Campus, college students have the opportunity to gain experience in writing, publishing, and possibly marketing campaigns with national clients. The chapter of Her Campus at Georgia Southern has six sections they report on weekly: Campus Features, Campus Celebrities, Campus Cuties, Blogs, Events, and Snapshots. “As a part of Her Campus, I love the versatility that comes with my position. I am free to write about whatever campus related topic, while being guided and learning more about the blogging process,” Kendra Cray, social media director of Her Campus said.
