The Georgia Southern Anthropology Society is outside The Carroll Building today having a bake sale from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m, while supplies last.

Cookies and cupcakes are two for $1!

They have a wide variety of baked goods, which includes: red velvet white chocolate cupcakes, no-bake cookies, chocolate cupcakes with buttercream icing, valentine sugar cookies, and white chocolate macadamia nut cookies.

The Anthropology Society is a department organization focused on archeology, linguistics, cultural, and biological discovery. “Any department that falls under anthropology, we try to experience,” Tyler Omsby, junior anthropology major, said.

This organization is raising money for different field trips that they want to take that might relate to any anthropology fields in this organization.

Anyone can join! It’s not required to be an anthropology major. Every other Thursday, they have a meeting in The Carroll Building room 2255, if they’re not in there, check them out in the anthropology lab in the Carroll Building!

Sounds like a great fund-raising opportunity for the anthropology department according to this well-written article by Lindsay!
