The Clothesline Project is a world wide event where women can express their emotions of violence by decorating a shirt then displaying it around campus.

The Georgia Southern Responding to Sexual Assault Team is representing this project. SART is a joint project of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management and Academic Affairs which is funded through student activity fees. SART hosts events such as The Clothesline Project to bring awareness of sexual assault issues.

“I joined SART because I wanted to be aware of the resources to then bring awareness to the public of this violence,” Sariah Lee, a senior marketing and logistics major, said.

The Clothesline Project will be in The Russell Union Rotunda and Recreational Activity Center lobby this week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., as well as the the Centennial Place Café from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
