If you are interested in a date and would like to make a stand against cancer, Omega Phi Alpha has the perfect event coming up.

This Thursday in the Russell Union Theater at 7:45 there will be a date auction. Different men will be introduced and auctioneers will place bids for a date with them. The panel is made up of men from a wide variety of organizations and fraternities. 1 ticket is $1, and all proceeds go toward Relay for Life.

“We always participate in Relay for Life, it is something we hold very near and dear to our hearts,” Megan Williams, junior fashion merchandise and apparel design major, said.

Relay for Life is also hosting an all night fundraiser that supports cancer research and honors cancer survivors and fighters.The Georgia Southern Relay for Life all night event is April 10th from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m.
