Rising redshirt sophomore running back Andrew Cunningham appeared to pull his name from the transfer portal and will remain at Georgia Southern.

Cunningham announced his decision to enter the portal on Twitter on April 26, citing that he would be “exploring other options”.

In high school, Cunningham received offers from many schools including Syracuse, University of Georgia, Purdue, Oklahoma State, West Virginia, South Carolina, and Ole Miss among others.

Due to an injury, he was forced to redshirt his freshman season here at GS.

Now that his name has been pulled from the portal and he is seemingly healthy, he will likely be an asset to the GS offense.
