The second wave lineup for Savannah Stopover was announced Jan. 16 at The Jinx.
Savannah Stopover’s unique ability to blend new, emerging acts and seasoned, national artists with regional talent is only part of the appeal of the festival. Held March 5-7, Stopover will feature over 100 bands hosted at venues such as The Jinx, Congress Street Social Club, the Beer Garden at Moon River Brewing Company, Hang Fire and Club One.
Discounted early bird tickets have sold out, but 3-day passes are still available here, as well as 1- and 2-day tickets.
The confirmed lineup is as follows, organized by day:
Savannah Stopover is also partnering with Art Rise Savannah for its annual band poster juried exhibition. Local artists are encouraged to choose an act from the 2015 lineup and create a poster using the festival’s specifications. Semi-finalists will be included in an exhibit of posters in the Jepson Center Atrium March 2-9 and will be judged by a panel of local artists, graphic designers and the organizers of Savannah Stopover Music Festival. The top three artists will be announced at an opening reception for the finalists at the Jepson Center March 6 as part of the First Friday Art March. Finalists will receive exposure, as well as award packages and gift certificates. The deadline for entries is Feb. 17 at midnight.
