Georgia Southern University students have the opportunity to represent the school at this year’s Savannah St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

The parade, which will take place in downtown Savannah on March 16, is allowing GS students to participate and walk in the event.

“Fifty students will be able to attend on a first come, first served basis,” Director of Communications Jennifer Wise said.

The deadline to sign up is March 8, and students can do so here.

Transportation from Statesboro to Savannah will be provided as well as lunch and a t-shirt provided.

Students will not be allowed to leave the route during the parade.
