Homecoming is almost over, but that doesn’t mean that Georgia Southern University’s spirit is. Volunteers of the Student Activities Center are passing out wristbands to help promote the campus spirit for the upcoming Homecoming Parade and the football game. If students are caught wearing wristbands to either event, their picture gets taken. Student Volunteer, Phillip Mathis, said, “We’re passing out wristbands to students. It’s just a way to help show our spirit.”
The Homecoming Parade starts today, October 10, at 4:00 pm. The parade will start at the College of Education building and end at Sweetheart Circle. The Homecoming football game is tomorrow, October 11, at 6:00 pm.
