Georgia Southern’s School of Nursing RN-BSN program was ranked No. 27 out of 50 schools as one of the most affordable programs in the nation by GreatValueColleges.net.
The RN to BSN program is a fully online program recognized for its commitment to providing high-quality education at an affordable price, according to an online press release.
The Registered Nurse to Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN) program was designed specifically for registered nurses wanting a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree, according to the official program page. Both part-time and full-time enrollment are available for working registered nurses. The program’s flexibility was one of many aspects considered in the ranking process.
Sheri Carey, DNP, assistant professor and RN-BSN program director, said the recognition attested to the program’s reputation and affordability as well as ongoing faculty excellence.
“We strive to give students all the tools they need to achieve their full potential and meet future academic and career goals,” Carey said.
According to the press release, information from each program’s website and tuition pricing gathered by College Navigator were used to make the list. Tuition information, flexibility, customization within the degree program and unique offers were determining factors for the rankings.
The School of Nursing, located in Waters College of Health Professions, is fully accredited by the Georgia Board of Nursing and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. There are four undergraduate nursing programs offered at Georgia Southern including the online RN-BSN program, according to the official School of Nursing webpage.
Registered nurses interested in the program can apply online through the School of Nursing’s website.
