Eagles take one-point win over South Alabama

Georgia Southern took the win  against University of South Alabama Thursday night.

 After a game winning shot from Kamari Brown Eagles were able to grab the win making them 11-9 overall and 4-5 in the Sun Belt Conference.

  • Cam Bryant and Gedi Juozapaitis were both tied in leading scorers with 10 points each
  • Andrei Savrasov totaled nine points and eight rebounds
  • Prince Toyambi had nine points and six boards and Kamari Brown notched nine points and four rebounds.
  • The last time GS won two straight games by 1 point was 1987
  • The Eagles kept USA  to 1 for 6 from the field and forced five turnovers to start the game while jumping out to a 15-3 lead.

GS will host against Troy Saturday at 4 with a double header along with GS WBB who will host against Georgia State.
