How to get into this season’s baseball and softball games for free

Briyanna Thompson, Sports Managing Editor

February marks the beginning of Georgia Southern’s baseball season, and just like other sporting events students can get into home baseball games free of charge.

The team starts off the season this Friday, February 18, facing off against University of Tennessee in their first away game.

Full-time students at GS and East Georgia with paid athletic fees get in any athletic event with their student ID. Students must have a physical copy of their ID as it will need to be scanned upon entry of any athletic event.

Single tickets start at $6 and the price can increase on game days. All home games are hosted at J.I. Clements Stadium

Ticket windows open 2 hours before the first pitch; Will Call is located at the main entrance to J.I. Clements Stadium.

Parking is free and first come first served at the stadium. There is also a clear bag policy that is enforced at J.I. Clements stadium for baseball games. The full baseball schedule can be found on Georgia Southern Athletics website. Their first home game will be against Georgia Tech on February 22nd.
