Spotlight: Health and Wellness Center on Armstrong

Georgia Southern understands the importance of health and wellness for students, especially, post-Covid.

Health and Wellness ambassadors help promote mental and physical wellness on campus. The Health and Wellness Center is a safe space for students to be able to prosper in their college life.

Students can visit the Health and Wellness office at the end of the ROTC hall located in the new Recreation Center on campus.

Student Wellness and Health’s goals are to keep students on campus happy and healthy.

Programs and services available are but are not limited to, emotional and physical wellbeing, sexual health and safe drinking. Student Wellness and Health’s main goal is to provide resources and community to all Georgia Southern students.

“This program is directed towards all students at Georgia Southern,” Icis Sutton, president of the Wellness Ambassadors, said. “Our main goal is to just educate students on different aspects of health.”
