After a tough 71-88 loss to Rice, Georgia Southern closed out the 3-game invitational with a 63-57 win against Western Michigan.

Georgia Southern beat Houston Christan in their home stadium 84-77 for the first win of the tournament. They shot a very effective 62.5% from the field as 5 guys reached double digits in points
