Models of the fourth annual Language of Lingerie are set to strut the runway of the Russel Union Ballroom on Feb. 23 at 7 p.m.

Language of Lingerie is an unortidox modeling show hosted by the Visage Fashion Company that showcases some of the more sexual and erotic aspects of the college lifestyle, president of Visage Fashion Company Jamie Laurier said.

“There’s not another show like it on the Georgia Southern Campus,” Laurier said. “It’s definitely an unique must-see event.”

The Visage Fashion Company, a modeling on-campus organization, began Language of Lingerie in 2015 after learning that other campuses, such as Florida State University and Alabama State, held the event.

Tryouts for models of various body types begin at the beginning of each year, and the selected models are used in every show throughout the year.

“[The show] give students models empowerment in body, self esteem, puts them in situations they may not be used to so that they may grow,” Laurier said.

The event is free to the public.
