Georgia Southern University will host an open house for its inclusive post-secondary education program EAGLE Academy on Tuesday, Jan. 30 in room 2148 of the College of Education Building.
The open house event, beginning at 3 p.m., will provide future students information about the EAGLE Academy and the opportunities the program provides.

The “EAGLE” in the program’s title is an acronym for Equal Access to Gainful Learning and Empowerment.
According to the Eagle Academy’s website the program is a two year certificate program, that offers post-secondary education for students with disabilities. The program is designed to teach independent living and career skills to students who have recently completed high school.
EAGLE Academy also provides courses and internships that will enhance students life skills as well as further career aspirations.
