The Office of International Programs and Services (OIPS) is set to host a mini Study Abroad Fair in the Russell Union Commons on Jan. 23.

The fair, which lasts from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., will allow students to browse program options, meet the faculty leading the trips, and speak with students who have participated in the program previously, according to the OIPS.

Study Abroad advisor Emilee Carr said the trips last from four to five weeks during the summer, with the average trip price being $5,000, which includes airfare.

“To every student that is even semi-interested in traveling abroad or seeing another culture, do it!” Carr said.

Carr added that students have the opportunity to apply for scholarships to help pay for trip fees.
