M.A.P or better known as The Minority Advisement Program is a mentoring program that helps students get more comfortable at Georgia Southern. “Let’s Link” is one of many events hosted by M.A.P.
At the event, they had many organizations participating including fraternities, sororities, fashion, dance, and culture organizations.
“I wanted to join the organization because I wanted to feel included and find some people in my program and my major that are my skin complexion,” said Shante Barber, president of the Black Student Nurse Association. “This organization does have a lot to offer.”
Each organization had engaging booths with members ready to give out more information. This event also helped everyone with networking or just meeting new people in general.
“This event, I like how all of us black organizations can come together, and we can learn more about each other and get more involved on campus because if we don’t do it nobody is going to do it for us,” said president of Caribbean Student Association
Brianna Ormbsy.
