Ah yes, Thanksgiving. A glorious holiday dedicated to shoving your face with as much turkey, casserole, and dessert as humanly possible. Shout out to the pilgrims and their first harvest in the New World, the modern world isn’t letting y’all down.
If you haven’t started your own Friendsgiving tradition in college, you may want to get a new friend group. There’s nothing better to fill your heart with than a night of food, booze, and your closest pals. If you’ve been assigned dessert duty for the party, then consider these three indulgent options: From an easy slow cooker recipe to an intricate cheesecake for those who are trying to show off their baking skills.
Slow-Cooker Mixed Berry Cobbler

Ingredients
(for 8 servings)
1 cup raspberry1 cup blueberry1 cup strawberry1 cup blackberry1 tablespoon cornstarch1 box vanilla cake mix8 tablespoons butter, cut into pieces
Preparation
Add raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, and blackberries into the bottom of the slow cooker.Sprinkle cornstarch on top and mix gently.Pour cake mix on top of the berries and spread out so it covers the berries.Place pieces of butter on top of the cake mix and cover.Cook on high for 2½ to 3 hours, until the cake is fully cooked.Serve, topped with ice creamEnjoy!
Apple Pie Bread Pudding

Ingredients
(for 4 servings)
6 slices bread3 eggs½ cup milk1 teaspoon vanilla extract1 tablespoon cinnamon3 granny smith apples, peeled and chopped1 cup brown sugar3 tablespoons cornstarchvanilla ice creamcaramel sauce
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).Slice the bread into ½ inch (1 cm) cubes.In a large bowl, combine the eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon, stirring until smooth.Add the bread and stir until the bread cubes have evenly absorbed the milk mixture.Spread the bread evenly in a 9-inch (23cm) round baking pan.In a large bowl, combine the apples, brown sugar, and cornstarch, mixing until evenly combined.Spread the apples evenly on top of the bread.Bake for 40 minutes, until edges are brown.Cool, slice, then serve with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce!Enjoy!
Pumpkin Spice Chocolate Cheesecake

Ingredients
(for 6 slices)
Pumpkin Mix
¾ lb pumpkin, chopped¼ cup butter1 tablespoon sugar
Cheesecake Mix
13 oz cream cheese1 cup sugar½ cup double cream1 teaspoon cinnamon½ teaspoon ginger½ teaspoon nutmeg½ teaspoon2 eggs
Chocolate Biscuit Base
2 ½ cups chocolate biscuit2 tablespoons butter, melted
Cream Topping
1 cup double cream, whipped1 tablespoon cocoa powder
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 400°F.Prepare the pumpkin by cutting it into bite-size chunks and placing it in a baking tin with the butter and sugar.Bake for 30 minutes, until soft. Turn down the oven to 350°F and leave the pumpkin to cool.Blend the chocolate biscuits in a processor to form fine crumbs. Stir in the butter.Pour the biscuit base into a nonstick springform tin and set it aside.Mix together the pumpkin, cream cheese, sugar, double cream, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves. Stir in the eggs.Pour over the biscuit base.Bake in the oven for 1 hour. Leave to cool.Spread over the whipped cream and sprinkle on the cocoa powder on top.Enjoy!
