Statesboro has a variety of events for Halloween, however, most of these events need volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering, here are some opportunities available.

Volunteer with the Haunted Forest

The Haunted Forest will take place from Oct. 24 – Oct. 31 at The Clubhouse. Sign up to scare haunted forest-goers here. Volunteers need to arrive 30 minutes prior to their assigned shift. Dress comfortably. Mask and costumes will be provided. All proceeds benefit the local Boys and Girls Club.

Sign up to volunteer with Statesboro-Bulloch County Parks and Recreation at their annual Trick or Treat at Mill Creek on Oct. 27. There will be face-painting, bounce houses, hay rides, and more. Volunteers will be setting up and breaking down as well as helping work carnival games, inflatables and a candy trail. Email aspcommunityliaison@gmail.com to sign up.

Volunteer with Scare on the Square

The annual Scare on the Square event will take place on the square in downtown Statesboro on Oct. 28. Sign up here to help with various activities including a Haunted House or Hayride.
