Eagle Dining Services (EDS) is preparing to host an event called the Get Fit for the Health of it Festival, which is part of the National Nutrition Month during March. The EDS has worked this month to promote nutrition with a new topic each week, like hydration and Playing with Protein and Health Carbs. This festival is promoted to cap off National Nutrition Month with an event geared towards the enjoyment and teaching of students about healthy lifestyles.

This event will take place Friday, March 24 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in front of the Dining Commons and is open to the public, free of charge. There will be many activities at the event, like a picture booth and mini fitness class. The first 100 people there will get a free t-shirt and many different businesses will be present serving some of their delicious food items.

The event put on by EDS is to demonstrate healthier resources around and off campus. It will show many helpful tips to students about living healthy while apart of GSU and after they are done with college. EDS is happy to offer this event to everyone in the community and is ready to spread their knowledge about how to live healthier.
