Bestselling author and GSU Almuna returns to Southern

Cassie Beasley will be returning to campus on Wednesday, March 2nd at 7 p.m. to read from her bestselling novel Circus Mirandus.

According to news.georgiasouthern.edu, Beasley graduated from the Writing and Linguistics department, and soon afterwards published Circus Mirandus in 2015. The book’s target audience if for middle schoolers but can be enjoyed by all age ranges.

The book stars Micah Tuttle, a fifth grader, who is on a quest to find the mysterious Lightbender who promised his Grandpa Ephraim a miracle. The book follows Micah and Jenny’s, his equally brave friend, on their quest to find not only the Lightbender but also the Circus Mirandus.

Beasley will be reading the excerpt at the Information Technology Building in room 1005, it is free and open to the public. If you enjoy the reading of the excerpt then you will be able to purchase the book at the event.
