Georgia Southern students rejoice, everyone’s favorite time of year is coming back to the ‘boro! The Kiwanis Ogeechee Fair will be back October 19 through 24.

The cost of entry into the fair is $5. Tickets for rides are sold individually, but the fair also offers unlimited ride wrist stamps for $18. These prices may vary depending on the night. The annual fair is a student favorite, and this year’s student night will be hosted on Wednesday, October 21. Students must show student IDs at the gate to get in free. Ride tickets will still be for sale, but ride tickets will be reduced by one ticket each.

The fair is also hosting a parade on Monday at 5 p.m. through downtown Statesboro. “Food Bank Night” will also be hosted at the fairgrounds Monday evening. Tickets will be reduced by a $2 off coupon with the donation of canned goods. Tuesday night is Senior Citizen night so anyone 55 and over is admitted free. Wednesday night is GSU student night. Thursday night is Military Appreciation night, active duty and retired military and their dependents will be admitted free. Friday is “Moonlight Madness” with $15 wrist stamps being sold after 8 p.m. On the last day, Saturday, wrist stamps will be sold for $20 and are good all day.
