What is Campus Movie Fest?

Founded in 2001 by four Emory University students, Campus Movie Fest has grown to a platform where over 800,000 students have showcased their movies on large screens across America. This year $150,000 in prizes will be awarded to 75,000 students with the opportunity to have their films shown at the Cannes Film Festival.
And now the world’s largest Film festival is currently at Georgia Southern. Campus Movie Fest provides all the necessary tools to create an prize-winning movie. Equipment includes an Apple Macbook Pro loaded with Adobe Creative Cloud, Panasonic HD camera, 500 GB portable hard drive, Sennheiser sound gear, training & technical support, 1000+ royalty-free songs. Four out of the sixteen films presented at the Georgia Southern showcase will move on to compete for a $100,000 prize at the national stage. All events will be in Russell Union and the finale of the event will take place on October 11, 2015. The event is free and available to all Georgia Southern students with a valid ID.
