According to USA Today, the world will be getting more than just delicious candy this Halloween season.

A massive asteroid named 2015 TB145 will be flying by earth on Oct 31. Detailed in a report from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, TB was spotted by the Panoramic Survey Telescope and Rapid Response System Oct 10. The Halloween asteroid is said to be traveling at speeds greater than 78,000 miles per hour, and tips the scale in size ranging from 689 to 2,133 feet by Earth Sky.

The asteroid will be visible by telescope while it passes Earth 300,000 miles away. So for all you astronomy buffs out there TB will be at peak visibility around sunrise for North America. However, for the people worried about any chance of collision, Paul Chodas, manager of NASA’s Near-Earth Object office at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif told USA Today, “In fact, not a single one of the known objects has any credible chance of hitting our planet over the next century”.
