The Eagle Card Program, a unit of Auxiliary Services, has added Apple Pay and Google Wallet for students, faculty and staff to be able to make purchases at campus retail locations.

Both programs will allow consumers to make purchases with a simple touch of a finger. Apple Pay users can store their credit card information on their iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 plus and use it at different campus retail locations.

Similar to Apple Pay, Google Wallet is for Android devices such as the Samsung Galaxy, or HTC. With the new apps, consumers will no longer need to swipe a credit card to make a purchase at different locations.

Google Wallet and Apple Pay will be accepted at Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, GusMart, Market Street Deli, Zach’s Brews, Wrapsody, and Freshens. In addition, Tech Corner and the University Store will accept both programs.
