Georgia Southern Students,

This season is a year of change at Georgia Southern. We’re in a new conference; we’ve got a new football coach, we’re playing in a new-look Paulson Stadium, and this is our first season in the Football Bowl Subdivision.

Over the last week, there have been rumors going around campus regarding student tickets. I’d like to remind Eagle Nation that students are admitted to football games by presenting their Eagle ID at the gate.

Additionally, here are the highlights of our student ticket policy:

– Current Georgia Southern Students will be admitted to games by showing their valid Eagle ID.

– Students can only enter the stadium at Gate 1, Gate 13 and the Student Tailgate Zone (Gate 14).

– Students can purchase companion tickets in advance for their guests for $15. Each student can purchase one companion ticket for each game. Companion tickets can only be purchased on game week at the Georgia Southern Athletics Ticket Office. (Saturday games: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.)(Thursday Games: Monday-Thursday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.)

– The student section now includes sections H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, and P in the lower level as well as NN, OO, and PP in the mid deck.

Here at Georgia Southern we are proud of the support that our student body gives us. Our students are the heart and soul of Eagle Nation, and I can’t wait to see a full student section at our home opener on September 6th against Savannah State.

Go Eagles!
