Eagle fans will be on their feet as the tradition and hard work of Georgia Southern University football come full circle and gains air time on ESPNU.
Athletics director Tom Kleinlein announced Tuesday that Eagle football will play two nationally broadcasted games. This is a huge step for GSU football that is well deserved.
On top of six national championships, the Eagle Nation will look to continue their success after beating the University of Florida last fall 26-20. The televised games are scheduled for Sept. 25against Appalachian State University and Oct. 30 against Troy University. These will be the first Thursday home games since the Hugo Bowl in 1989.
