Restoring the Breach hosted an Ultimate Baby Shower at the Russell Union, offering free resources to new and expecting parents. Attendees had the opportunity to connect with various vendors, including Georgia WIC and C&E Learning Academy, to learn about their services.
The event give children the opportunity to take home some gently used toys and shoes. Volunteers also handed out bottles, diapers and towels. Additionally, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. handed out gift bags to attendees. Guests enjoyed a spread of baby shower food, including meatballs, sweets, and fruits.
Tytianna Mack, President of Restore the Breach, expressed delight at the turnout, stating, “We had 300 people on the roster, and more are signing in now, so it’s a fantastic turnout. It feels good to have our members come out and help with the event; we wouldn’t be able to do it without them. I’m proud to see the smiles on the moms’ faces.”
