Georgia Southern University’s Armstrong Campus is a diverse campus with lots of joyous energy. Ranging from the students who skate to class to students who participate in intramural sports for fun. This amazing campus features students from all walks of life.
However, the questions that should be asked are: Do we really know each other? Who are we as people?
Introducing a familiar face among the students of Armstrong is none other than Justin Andrews. Justin is a senior at Georgia Southern on the Armstrong campus, majoring in information technology with an emphasis in cyber security
Inkwell Staff: How is your experience so far at GSU?
Justin A.: I really enjoyed Georgia Southern and specifically, I haven’t visited Statesboro much, but I really do enjoy the Savannah campus. It feels small but at the same time it feels big. It is populated and things are going on, but you don’t have to walk 30 to 40 minutes across campus.
Inkwell Staff: What’s your most memorable experience at Georgia Southern?
Justin A.: So my freshman year, we had a little floor party, and we were inside the common room. One of the RA’s was there, and eventually, two campus police officers showed up. We were all just out playing cards against humanity with police officers, haha. I don’t think I will forget. I think that was a really cool time meeting everyone on the floor and kind of the community interaction that the campus police did that night.
Inkwell Staff: Do you have any pets?
Justin A.: Oh, absolutely! My cat, Taco Bell. I adopted her from the humane society about over a year ago. She’s a year and four months old. She is a black cat and is getting pretty old. She’s got a load of character. She loves to talk, and I think her growing up in the dorms, and having a bunch of roommates, gave her a really good opportunity to socialize with people and be used to being around people. She’s the light of my life.
Inkwell Staff: During your four years of college, what did you do to pass time? Any fun hobbies?
Justin A.: I really enjoyed programming. Some days I’ll get a little idea and type it up and I can, for the most part, make what I want to make, which I think is really cool. Being able to code something is my creative and artistic outlet. Beyond that, video games, board games, and card games.
