On September 3rd, Texas Roadhouse franchises across the state of Georgia donated 100% of their profits to Apalachee High School. The tragedy left 4 people dead and 9 injured and the community is still coping with this loss.
Apalachee High School is located in Barrow County, Georgia. All donations are donated to the Barrow Community Foundation. The locations that participated in the fundraiser are Athens, Augusta, Burford, Cartersville, Columbus, Cumming, Douglasville, Gainesville, Hiram, Macon, Marietta, McDonough, Newnan, Pooler, Rome, Savannah, Snellville, Statesboro, and Valdosta.
Texas Roadhouse was open from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. All profits will be donated to the Barrow Community Foundation in support of the families affected.
“Texas roadhouse is part of the community and we want to show our support with the community and so when our community is in need we want to be there for them.,” Manager partner Marice Jackson said.
Contributions to this fundraiser are dedicated in support for those affected by this tragedy.
