Georgia Southern students were able to experience a taste of the beautiful country of Nigeria with the Nigerian Student Association, and the International Student Admissions and Programs Department, to celebrate Nigeria Independence Day.
On Oct. 11, international students from Nigeria educated their peers by sharing a brief history of their country, and appreciating their culture through a warm delicious cuisine, upbeat music, and showcasing their beautiful, traditional attire.
Through expressed unity by allowing all who attended to feel welcomed and accepted, students witnessed this faithful community come together to celebrate their cultural heritage.
