Blaze Pizza opened on Tuesday, November 5th serving free 11 inch pizzas all day to customers. This new restaurant is owned by Grant and L.B. Watkins and partner Pete Kelly. Guests also enjoyed live music from Brent Stephens and Rolling Monkey ice cream.
“I feel like it’s a great way to get the production high and to get folks in the community out to taste, I really think it’s great, it smells great in here, and I think them giving out free pizzas was a wonderful thing to get going,” said student Cadeesha Wilson.
More than 45 toppings are available for customers to add to their pizza at Blaze. Blaze uses more premium ingredients that guarantees each customer will have something they like. The line for free pizzas was out the door when they first opened at 10:30 A.M. but a lot of customers from the community waited and appreciated the gesture.
“I feel like it’s a good promotion for the grand opening to give customers a taste of what all they have,” said customer Kambre Gillespie.
Blaze Pizza was founded by Elise and Rick Wetzel in 2011 in Pasadena, California. There are now 300 plus locations opened.
