2024 Ins and Outs (Georgia Southern Edition)

Sharing New Year’s resolutions? Out. Sharing your 2024 “ins and outs”? In.

Social media’s latest trend involves users sharing their “ins and outs” of the new year. Essentially, it includes a list of things that are “in” for 2024 and what should stay “out” of 2024. From better eating habits being “in” to excessive shopping being “out”, every list varies on its content. Each list is unique to one’s goals for the new year.

Instead of doing a typical “ins and outs” list I compiled 2024 “ins and outs” of Georgia Southern with no explanation:

Ins

  • Lakeside breakfast
  • Getting free goodies from the Rotunda
  • Going to class
  • GUS Mart sushi
  • Thursdays at Nonna’s
  • Using the brain booth at Club Hendy
  • Class GroupMes

Outs

  • Duo push authentication
  • Paying for textbooks
  • The Chick-fil-A line in Russell
  • Slow walkers
  • Campus parking tickets
  • Traffic on Fair Road
  • Cover

Here’s what other students had to say:

In: Lakeside grilled chicken
Out: Getting rid of Lime scooters and robot
– Kylie Sheffield, Senior

In: Going to other sporting events besides football
Out: Skipping your classes
– Emily Potter, Junior

In: Group fitness classes
Out: The peak shift at the RAC
– Skylar Caldwell, Senior

In: Better sleep schedule
Out: Coffee and energy drinks
– Jeffrey Wu, Junior
