Monday marked the last day to register to vote in Georgia. Millions of Georgians will rush to the polls to cast their votes on Nov. 5, this year’s Election Day.
Other registered voters will choose to vote early, which will be available on Oct. 15 through Nov. 1.
Some of the benefits of early voting are shorter lines on Election Day and increased flexibility for those who face time restrictions due to outside circumstances, according to the ACLU.
If you live on the Armstrong campus and wish to cast an early ballot, the closest voting location is at Southwest Chatham Library, which is only a five minute drive from campus. You are able to vote there every weekday from 9 am to 5 pm.
You can visit any polling location during designated hours and dates to fill out your ballot early. Visit the My Voter Page or the Chatham County website to find more early voting locations.
