It’s Thanksgiving season: the season of thankfulness, family, and food. Food brings all of us together, but as a college student, it can be hard to find cheap, fulfilling options to make a Thanksgiving dinner. Food security is the state of having reliable access to a sufficient quantity of affordable and sustainable food. Food insecurity is the opposite; It’s the state of not knowing where you might get your next meal from.
According to Feeding America, “Food insecurity has the potential to harm college students’ ability to achieve their educational and professional goals.”
