A popular celebration has taken the form of, “Friendsgiving”, a more laid back version of Thanksgiving that has gained popularity among college students across the U.S. Friendsgiving is an exciting event that you are able to do, even on a budget. From food, decorations, and activities – here’s how to throw the perfect Friendsgiving.
Food and Drink:
As it begins getting chilly outside, I love bringing warm, comforting and hearty dishes.

- Pies are another delicious option. Often you can get them for buy one get one at Publix this time of year, you just have to keep an eye out.

Nora Watson is throwing a Friendsgiving party, and shared her plans for what she did. “I bought Hawaiian Rolls and frosted sugar cookies, and for drinks I bought Hot Chocolate,” Watson said.
Cooking can seem like a burden, but it doesn’t have to be. You can find easy and cost-effective recipes on sites like Pinterest and even Instagram.
Decoration Ideas:
Decorations can take on so many different forms, and is a way for your creativity to shine. Many people use Friendsgiving as a way to begin decorating for Christmas, while others keep fall in the forefront of their festivities. It’s all up to you, and what your preferences are.
Watson said that she would “do cute plates and napkins; and some nice lighting.”

Activities:
Friendsgiving is an opportunity to connect with those closest to you, and the best activities are those where you can share moments with those closest to you.
Something as simple as watching movies, while eating your favorite foods is a great way to bond with others. Watson ended her night with a game of “Cards Against Humanity”.
